Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I have a special situation and they work with me. My baby comes home fed and clean. The staff is extremely nice (i do have favorites but i Guess i can't disclose that here. Lol). I am very happy and my child has grown he smiles he has come out of his shell since being there. I would definitely recommend this daycare.
I worked for this day care for just short or 3 months. I was hired as a teacher's assistant and found that the staff have a general "don't care" attitude. The director is a bad influence on the staff and causes for lower level of care. The staff is frequently distracted by their phones and conversations amongst themselves.
They use minimal supervision, as a whole. The owner and director frequently cut staffing hours and combine the age groups when understaffed. The owner will "help" in an area but be in a seperate room, in ear shot, not actually helping with anything.
My 2 daughters go here and I have to say they love it here. I love the fact that it's so clean they have plenty of games and activities that my girls enjoy. They have made so many friends and so much progress since they've been here in a short amount of time about six months thank you kiri and staff you are amazing
When outside or out of sight from the owner the staff will group together to gossip and let the children run around in charge of themselves. This causes the children to create their own pecking order through violent means (i.e. biting, kicking, hitting, teasing, mocking, etc). Some of these behaviors are, potentially unknowly, modeled by the staff (i.e. comparing good and bad children, talking about private insidents in public, scolding children and raising their voice, not letting a child calm down and talking to them to resolve issues).
Love this daycare. My daughter has been here since she was 5 months old. She is always happy to see and stay with her teachers which makes morning drop-off so much easier. It's great to know your child and safe AND loved while they are not in your own care. We are always treated like family. It has been a very welcoming environment since the first day when I called to if they had an opening.
I recently enrolled my daughter in this daycare because we moved right next to it . Didn't last two weeks there because of a couple reasons . First there was always older boys running around the place . Second my daughters room was way in the back no windows no cameras just a heavy door with little window on it thats all you can see in . Third most important reason why I had taken my daughter out this daycare and would never recommended coming here I went to pick up my daughter last Thursday afternoon and walked through the main classroom and watched a teacher push a little boy to the ground and tell him your not the line leader as the little boy cried on the ground she continued to keep sweeping not even helping him up . I grabbed my daughter out of her classroom and went straight to the lady that ran the place and told her . She said she'd handle it so I left and then came back minute later and she was still at her desk and said that the teacher said he fell that she didn't push him and that he's a troubled child . I broke down in tears of frustration thinking about what if that was my daughter and told her I will confront the teacher right In front of her that I know what I seen . She refused so I left and seen in the back of the daycare, the same teacher was out on the playground with the kids and wasn't even paying attention to them . The daycare owner called me and asked if I was okay . I asked if she was going to fire that teacher she said no sorry . So I pulled my daughter out of the daycare. You cant trust people with your kids these days and you can tell this is a daycare that's doesn't care . I wish I knew the little boys parents they will never know what's going on with their child at that daycare I asked her to call his parents but I doubt she did . YOUR KIDS AREN'T SAFE THERE . Oh BTW they provide food for the kids but it's the same stuff everyday and looks like it's almost old my daughter had the runs all the time from eating there stuff.I would put no starts but they won't let me .
If you send your child here, i would expect to see a deterieration in their behaviors and for them to act out in more violent tendencies. The staff are under educated or over worked, it's a toxic environment. They remove staff that actually tries to make any changes to the current system, even if they don't do it outright.
